And They Shall Nourish Her There By Daniel Yordy – December 19, 2010 The central word of the first feast, Passover, in its fulfillment in the life of the church, is grace. The central word of the second feast, Pentecost, is power. The central word of the third feast, Tabernacles, is authority. Grace is the Greek word, charis, which means gift. Grace is God Himself present with us as our life as a gift to us. The blessing of the beginning of the Christian life is that God is now with us, we are no longer alone. But the presence of God with us was knowledge only. We did not know that God impacted the physical world. Therefore we put everything off to a someday "heaven." Then God brought us into the experience of Pentecost and we received power. The purpose of power is to be a witness of Christ. That is to show by demonstration that God Himself is present in the human, physical experience. We experienced the Bible becoming a new book to us, we saw miracles take place in physical bodies; we experienced supernatural provision and guidance - all means of God present with us more than just as an idea, but in outward demonstration of reality. But both the knowledge that God is with us and the experience that He is with is in power all came to us as immature believers who did not know what God is doing. We knew that He is taking us on and up, but too many re-defined that upward call to mean "going to heaven" after physical death. In the first feast, we lived in the outer court of the temple. We talked often about the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross - the brazen altar, and we pursued 'Bible study' - the brazen laver. When we heard there was more, we pressed on forward to enter into the Holy Place. In the second feast, we lived in the Holy Place. We enjoyed the bread of truth, that is, the Bible as a living word; we walked in the light of the Spirit of God in ways we had not known in the outer court. But we heard there was more, so we pressed forward to the altar of incense, desiring to be consumed by its flame that we might rise up and enter into the Holy of Holies. In moving out of the outer court into the Holy Place, we left many of our brethren behind who were quite content with the outer court and had no desire for anything more from God in this life. In moving towards the altar of incense, we left many of our brethren behind who were quite content with the Holy Place, with the bread and the light, the provision and the joy, and had no desire for anything more from God in this life. But the altar of incense itself can be a place that many choose to set up their dwelling place, convinced that the entrance into all the fullness of God revealed in us will not actually happen in this life and on this earth. They are content to wait until their physical bodies perish and go into the grave before they enter into the Holy of Holies. The third feast is entirely different. In the first feast, God with us was a nice idea, but kept in a distant sort of way, back then, up there, some day. In the second feast, God with us became much more relevant and real to our daily life. But still, we were one and God was another. We saw ourselves separate from God, and we saw 'God with us' in only a limited way. To enter the third feast, to enter the Holy of Holies, we must become the smoke of the incense, that is, we must disappear into God. To enter the third feast, we let go of any claim to a 'self' identity , to being some person, separate from God's person. We now see that we are one spirit with the Lord, that He carries every part of ourselves inside Himself and that He lives in every part of us, right now, as we are in this world. But in entering the third feast, we do not 'leave behind' any part of the first or second feasts. Rather, those things pertaining to those two feasts, the elements of our salvation and the power of the Holy Ghost, are raised into a closeness and personal-ness beyond what we ever understood before. Here is what is different about living in the third feast. We are no longer going forward into God. Rather, we are seated upon the mercy seat, the throne of God, and we are looking out towards His creation, seeing now with His perspective, seeing all things as He sees them. God with us has swallowed us up completely and now it has become that we are with God. Now we are caught in the passion and power of His determination. He moves through us to prove His will in the earth. But how do we pass from the travail of the altar of incense into the full knowledge of union with Him? Simple. We believe what God says by faith. And how do we sit upon the throne of God and see all things as God sees? Simple. We believe all that He speaks. And how do we come to believe that what God says is true? Simple. We speak what He speaks, until what He speaks overshadows all other voices. If we pick and choose and believe some things and not others, then we cannot see as God sees. If we are still doing that, we may be inside the Holy of Holies - God has many doorkeepers in His house, those who stand at the door and show others the way into the Holy of Holies, into the life of Christ our life - and that is a beyond wonderful place to be. But Christ is more than an entrance or a door. All the fullness of Christ is all that God speaks fulfilled now in us. Christ is larger than anything we have ever known. A million years from now we will still be discovering broad vistas that Christ is, revealed in us, that we had never seen before after a million years of seeing more and more. Faith is the word God speaks, Christ, made personal in me. Then, as we sit upon the mercy seat and look out, viewing all things as God sees them, we understand that though we always remain seated upon the throne, we are also always moving out into the creation, both heaven and earth, with the one element that God gave to man in the day that he was created. Authority. We are made just like God as His likeness. God flows out from us, revealed through us as His image. But then God said, "Subdue the earth and take dominion over it." The writer of Hebrews brings that word into the reality of the present human experience by saying, "We do not now see all things placed under man's feet. But we see Jesus." And Matthew remembered these words of Jesus, "All authority in heaven and in earth is given unto Me. Go therefore . . ." Paul, in Romans 8, says that the whole creation will be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. By these words we understand that the authority given to man as the image and likeness of God is an authority that encompasses all of creation, both heaven and earth. The ultimate goal of authority in us in the present time is authority over death. Anyone who believes that they 'have to die' physically has bought the big lie and cannot see as God sees. That lie, that the physical body must perish under the original curse and be buried and turn to worms and that we 'rise' from this earthly realm into a fullness of life called 'heaven,' sits as a block, a blinder, upon the eyes and upon the heart. It prevents those who believe it from knowing what the third feast, what God, is all about. The Lord Jesus Christ possesses all authority over death. He is my life; I have no other life. I, Daniel Yordy, possess all authority over death. I do not 'have to' die; by God's grace I will not die. God swallows up death through me. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15 that God took the mighty victory over death that Jesus won and He gave that victory to me. I possess full victory over the dying of the present physical body. I have authority over death. This is the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Creation cannot know that liberty until we know that liberty. Now, don't get me wrong; in myself I can do nothing. I am a weak man, unable even to fulfill a work commitment I made because of the tiredness and weakness of my body. Some would say, "Well, if you can't "overcome" physical weakness, what makes you think you will defeat death? Ah, but there's the whole point. God revealing Himself in weakness does not fit anyone's definition of God (including mine), and "to overcome" becomes "to pretend with all your might." That is not faith. Faith believes what God says; faith does not regard what the eyes see. Nor does it try to "force" the body into a pretending in order to meet some outward definition of Christ. However, between now and the full and final knowledge of complete victory over death, there are increasing levels of authority, of God moving through us as He speaks and we as tag-alongs, vessels, caught in the fulfillment of His determination. Do not ever limit God. Remove all limitation from what God is doing in you and through you right now upon this earth. God says, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." God says that Jesus has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. God says that the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Faith is bold with an audacity that the carnal mind cannot know. Faith takes all that God speaks - Christ - and makes it personal in me. Faith knows no limit and no bounds. Faith never says, "This far I will believe, and no more." Faith never says, "But that is for some future day or some other person." God has placed three enemies against Himself into our experience: the world, Satan and his demons, and death. Contrary to what many teach, the flesh is not our enemy. Paul said that we do not battle against the flesh, but against spiritual powers - powers that exist on the outside of us. Our body is the very temple of Almighty God. The enemy we fight is the finger and sentence of death that yet remains in it. Death is the last enemy to be defeated. God created us to defeat His/our enemies. That's what it means to be a son of God. Before we take the full and final authority over death, God reveals in us the full and final authority and victory over the Beast (the outward authorities in the world) and the Dragon (Satan and his demons, the spirit that fills the world). Defeating the Beast and the Serpent comes first. John says in his first epistle, "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" The world is that system of relationships among fallen man upon this planet, breathed upon by Satan, and governed by the authority of man - the Beast. God did not place us on this earth to make the world a better place. He put us here to defeat the world. All Christians who seek to enter into and participate in the governmental systems of this world come under the authority of Satan. There is no other possibility. The kingdom of God, coming through us, is something entirely different. Now, let us bring in what God says. "And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations - ' He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' - as I also have received from My Father . . ." Revelation 2:26-27 "She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days." Revelation 12:5-6 "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations . . ." Matthew 28:18-19 The Father gave unto Christ all authority in heaven and on earth, including authority over the nations. Christ is my life; I have no other life. I believe all that God speaks; I place no limit on the fulfillment through me of what He speaks. I never say, "Well, maybe God isn't talking about me." How could God not be talking about me? He is most certainly talking about Christ. Christ is the only life I know. Therefore God is absolutely talking about me. Faith defeats the world. Faith takes every word God speaks and makes it personal in me right here and right now. Those believers who do not believe that we are at the beginning of the age to come, right now in the year 2010, who think that all things continue now as they have always been, nothing changes. Those believers who do not allow a present fulfillment of all that God speaks in the physical realms of this earth, who do not see the end of this age of human folly taking place right now before our eyes. Those believers who do not see themselves as the ones through whom God is transforming the ages, bringing an end to this present age and birthing the age to come right here upon this planet, God cannot freely use in the present fulfillment of His determination. Yes, they belong to Him and He loves them and has a wonderful place and future for them. But He cannot use them to fulfill the desire and focus of His heart. He cannot defeat the nations through them, as He speaks. Unbelief puts a limit on God. Unbelief says "This far and no more." Unbelief says, "It can't be talking about me." Those who prefer not to see the reality that we are right now in the fullness of times when God fulfills all that He speaks in all fullness in us right here on this planet must, in the end, part ways with this letter. In my next letter for this series, I want to explore the meaning of these words, "to him I will give power over the nations." I will do that in two separate articles, the first will be Part 14 of this series, the second will be a website article in which I look specifically at the strategy of the dragon as it is presently unfolding on this earth, as he stands before the woman to devour her child as it is born. But in the remainder of this letter, I want to look at one little phrase out of all the Bible that has always been close to my heart. "And they shall nourish her there." One of the greatest temptations the enemy throws at ministers of the gospel is to make them feel that they need to 'defend the truth.' Here's how it works. A minister of the gospel sees wonderful truth in the New Covenant. He ministers that truth and many people receive it, hearing it themselves from the Lord. But some do not hear God speaking, they just hear words, and they counter back against that minister with words of their own. They may use actual verses from the Bible to contradict the words they heard or read, or they may just use innuendo and invective to speak against, in one way or another, the words that they heard this minister say. Remember, this is always true. Two believers can sit side by side listening to the same preacher. One can hear God speak by the Holy Spirit inside of them alongside the words the preacher is saying. The other just hears (or reads) words and ideas coming from the preacher. Those words may be 'interesting' or something to talk about, but in the end, just human words and ideas. Those who hear God speak; hear Him speak in all things. Those who hear or read words and ideas cannot hear God in anything. But they like to throw things back at the preacher. And so the minister of the gospel feels an urgent need to 'defend' the truth. To preach the next time he gets up (or the next time he writes a letter) at those who spoke against the word God spoke. This is the trap, and sadly, most Christian ministers fall for it. I appreciate your prayers for me that I will not fall into this snare of the enemy. Yet every assault of the enemy against me serves only to strengthen Christ revealed in me. The serpent always defeats himself. It is my desire to speak with clarity of heart the word God gives me to share without reference to anyone except those who also hear God speaking to them personally and intimately, concerning the present revelation of Jesus Christ. All hell is about to be let loose on this planet. I'm not prophesying; this is not an 'end-time' prophecy. I am simply speaking normal reality of the history of man upon this planet and in the church age. The systems of technology and finance that bring us all our earthly sustenance cannot survive. They are incredibly fragile and must break. That is normal human history. Only this time, you and I cannot get our life out of the ground. And we are surrounded by millions of people who don't even know that their food comes out of the ground. More than that, we are witnessing the United States of America commit and finalize the greatest act of theft in all the history of human wickedness. It's happening before our eyes. And the intention of the American people to follow that greatest act of theft with the greatest act of murder in all the history of the human race is also happening before our eyes. And the terrible, terrible part of all this is that these acts of consummate evil are coming out of the same people that cry "God bless America," that claim that America is the 'exceptional' nation because America has a 'covenant' with God. They cover the evil over by saying, "Oh, think only good thoughts about America to bless it; those who speak against the evil are causing the problem." Sounds just like those who spoke against God all through the Bible. God shows us this present reality in the gospel so clearly. The harlot is not one who does not know Jesus. The harlot is one who sleeps with Jesus and who sleeps with His enemy and who calls both Christ and anti-Christ one and the same. Yet that harlot is dearly beloved of our Savior. And He makes it very clear that His people, His dearly beloved, those who belong to Him and are close to His heart LIVE and MOVE and have their being inside that harlot. Jesus is engaged to be married to a prostitute. He loves her and He will win her for Himself. But she is still a prostitute and the passage of her cleansing is not an easy passage. The time is now. Jesus said, "You will not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'" These words have great importance. Not one person on this earth will see Jesus until they accept that He comes to them in all reality through another. Jesus was talking about the natural Jew when He spoke, that they will not see Him until they are ready to accept that they are not the 'chosen ones,' that another who is not a 'Jew' is the embodiment of their Messiah coming to them. But in the gospel, this truth is expanded to include all who do not see Christ in themselves. One of my students asked, "Mr. Yordy, what would you do if Jesus walked through that door?" I said, "He has." He didn't like that answer; no one likes that answer. Isaiah put that same truth this way, that Zion will marry her sons. The Lord Jesus Christ is the bridegroom. Christ is my life; I have no other life. I, Daniel Yordy, am the bridegroom. I am not the bride; I am the bridegroom. (Put your own name in the blank.) You see, it's not me, it's Christ. Only I'm still alive, only it's not me, it's Christ. There is no separation between Him and me. He reveals Himself in all that He is through me. That is the gospel. There is no other gospel taught in the New Testament. "Back then, up there, some day" is not a New Testament teaching. "You shall not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.'" The church of Jesus Christ is about to go through the worst trauma in her existence, a trauma worse than the persecutions of Domitian or Diocletian, worse than the Black Plague, worse than the horrors of religious war or of Communist slaughter. Those who presently deny the truth of that reality will themselves be in shell shock as it happens. All of these things I named happened to those who loved Jesus during the church age. Has history changed for the sake of the most pampered and spoiled generation ever to walk on this earth just because they are spoiled and pampered? I doubt it. I am not interested in debating the issue; history is clear and nothing has changed to make the present day "different." All that God speaks revealed through us will alter history, but positive thinking that covers over evil acts will not. My eyes are upon the beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, His woman. She is a prostitute. She runs back and forth, giving her heart to Jesus, than pledging that same heart to the kingdoms of Satan in this world, back and forth, back and forth. She is polluted and unclean. And He loves her. The One who fills my heart loves her. She is marching inexorably towards her execution. Satan hates her and his hatred fills the hearts of those who belong to him, who govern this world behind the scenes. I read the plans of evil men written over a century ago, plans to murder the woman who belongs to Jesus. I look at the present news and I see those plans in full fruition, exactly as they said. And I see her oblivious to the evil men who lure her to her destruction. Satan does not just want to kill the bride. He wants to entice her into committing the greatest acts of sin against God that can be committed, all the while 'believing' that she's 'with God.' God Himself says, in the gospel, that these things would be so. So many people prefer to be ignorant of reality or to 'believe' what they hear from the image of the Beast, especially from Fox News. As I said, there is no time for that. My care and concern is only for the Bride, the woman who belongs to Jesus and who is more precious to Him and who is in greater danger than she understands. "Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent." Revelation 12:13-14 By the grace of God, this is my calling. If it is not your calling, that's wonderful. You have a gift from God that is created just for you. This is my calling, and I will speak to it and to those who share the same calling with me. If you do not understand this calling, at the least, don't speak against it. We will need this protection and this provision to come to us through those who "nourish her there," along with all others who belong to Jesus. We cannot feed ourselves. Nor will there be food while millions around us are starving to death, nor can we keep ourselves safe from the surveillance and the shock-troops of the Beast. And yes, people are being rounded up in America without cause right now. Just because its not on the television news does not mean its not happening. Things are changing so fast that even those who cling to blindness can no longer deny it. We will have three choices. We will either accept the control of the Beast over us in order to survive, or we will die, or we will draw our life out of the heavens as the gospel provides, bringing the kingdom of God into full reality in this earth in all that the New Testament speaks. The crisis we presently face is entirely by God's intention. If God did not give us no choice, we would tootle along in our present in-part experience of the kingdom, believing that the entire kingdom is ours now, but never actually birthing the reality of Christ upon this earth. Judas was a blessing sent from God. If he had not betrayed the Lord Jesus to His death, we would not know salvation. Jesus understand Judas's critical role perfectly. If the Pharisees had not opposed Jesus all the way to murder, we would not know the kingdom of God. Our salvation depended entirely on open and brutal opposition to Christ. So it is today. The kingdom of God requires total and open opposition to bring forth its full life and reality upon the earth. People really object to that reality, claiming it's not the 'grace of God,' but I can find nothing in the pages of the Bible that does not present that reality in every possible way. I believe the word given to Annie Schissler, let me repeat one of her visions here. It is worth reading over and over. The Wave of Pure Light Annie Schissler - Ed Miller's spiritual daughter God showed me a new and extraordinary wave of heavenly pure light and life that He is accumulating to prepare the manifestation of the Great Harvest, that will develop underneath the storm of evil which is forming. He told me that He would not wait or retain this wave anymore, but that He would proceed to manifest it because His great "now" had come. While being released by Him, it would flow over the earth, returning multitudes of souls to the fold. ***** To me, this vision is full confirmation to the sense of calling I have carried in my heart since age 21 to be this provision of God for His precious people caught under a storm they cannot comprehend. Let me point out that this "harvest" is not necessarily of people who are not Christians today. Certainly it includes many that are not Christians, but this is a fullness-of-Christ word. Most Christians, though they have tasted the Lord in a tiny measure, have yet to enter into Christ. They also are part of this final great harvest. And so I purpose to set before you this reality as well. This is the calling and the task given to Christ who is your life - to nurture and to sustain His people in their hour of greatest need. You have the power inside of you, you have the wisdom inside of you, you have the authority inside of you to command the heavens and the earth to yield all that is needed by the power of the Spirit moving through faith. I cannot say what that will look like outwardly; I have no such knowledge. But I know the calling layed upon me by God; and right now, I will speak to this greatest of all needs in the history of the church. God will send all provision and all sustenance and all life and light and anointing - THROUGH His elect to His beloved. "And THEY (we) shall nourish her there." Isaiah saw further into the revelation of the Kingdom of God than any other Old Testament saint. He said it this way: "Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child." Isaiah 66:7 We are being birthed into all the fullness of Christ - God is planting Himself, His very heart, inside of us, right at the moment of the church's greatest need. His purpose is that we be the channel through which all provision and sustenance, life and hope, will flow from God to His beloved, caught in the confusion and darkness, not knowing her way, running and frightened and pursued by a flood of evil. History is real. The physical world is real. At the same time, there are other elements of reality coming into the present picture that most people do not consider. But God reveals Himself inside of all of it. This is the first part of the entrance of the kingdom of God out of the realms of Spirit and into full manifestation in all of God's creation. God does nothing except through us, His elect, and through Christ who is our life. The Covenant we have entered into with God is shocking in its provisions and implications. That Covenant must be fulfilled in the earth. In the next series letter, I want to explore one of the strongest points of that Covenant, small letter writing that is binding on God and on us. "To him who overcomes I give power over the nations." The time is now. |
