God’s Promise to the Natural Jew

Interestingly, the definition of what, exactly, is a Jew, is of far larger importance to the completion of God’s work inside of this age and of the transition into the age to come than most people realize. Most evangelical Christians believe that the central focus of God in this age and the next here upon the earth is the natural Jew.

There are many statements and prophecies of God in both the Old Testament and the New Testament that seem to speak specifically of the natural Jew and the promises or at least the work of God. People talk all the time about what God is doing among the Jews, but they never ever tell us exactly what they mean by “the Jews.”

Defining “Jew”
In defining what God means by “the Jews” in all of His promises (bad promises as well as good), there is no need to separate Judah from the other tribes of Israel. There are a few promises made specifically to Judah, but by the time of Christ the use of the term “Jew” to refer specifically to Judah has no meaning. The kingdom of Judah itself had contained, besides Judah, most of Simeon, Benjamin, and Levi as well. More than that, many from the other tribes also settled inside the kingdom of Judah.

So this article will make no attempt to distinguish among the tribes of Israel in any way. We will take the largest approach and use the term “Jew” as, first, meaning those who are descended from the tribes of Israel, that is, those who are descended in a direct line from Jacob, the grandson of Abraham.

This, of course, cannot be a useful definition for the term “Jew” as it is used by Christians in understanding God and what He is doing in the earth.

Here is why.

What about Gentile Converts?
We know from the New Testament that it was a common practice at that time for Jews to seek converts to Jewish worship from among the Gentiles. It is evident that, if those converts had children, and they had children, all raised in the synagogue, in a few generations, no one would know which “Jewish” members of the synagogue were naturally Jews and which were the descendants of Gentiles who had converted to Judaism. All would be called Jews.

Therefore, we must be specific about who we are talking about when we say “God is working, today, among the Jews.” Or, “God is fulfilling His promises of old concerning the Jews.”

A big part of that work of God is a great ingathering into the Lord Jesus Christ of a large number of “Jews” as a final herald of God’s work in the church age.

So, exactly who constitutes this final ingathering? Some people might think this is a meaningless question, alas, it is not. It is a huge and extremely pertinent question. American Christians are preparing to murder millions of people and to be destroyed in their turn entirely over the question of who is a Jew. I think we ought to know why we will be killing and dying!

More than that, if the conversion of the Jews to Christ is a significant thing that marks the final chapter of this present age, it would seem to be of some value for us to be able to identify this great event when it happens.

Two Possibilities
Let’s give the possibilities of who, exactly, are these whom God Himself recognizes are “Jews” for the final fulfillment of His promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to the Israel of the Old Testament.

There are two possibilities only, but these two possibilities are fraught with questions.

1.   All individuals alive upon this earth right now who are literally descended by blood and genetics from Jacob himself.

2.   All of number one, plus all individuals alive upon this earth right now who are literally descended by blood and genetics from any Gentile over the last 3000 or so years who converted to Judaism in his lifetime.

Problems for Possibility #1
We will assume that God alone is the judge of whether a particular individual is a “Jew” or not, and thus in line for the fulfillment of God’s promises to the natural Jew, whatever those promises might be. And never forget: there are many promises of God to the natural Jew that are awful. So when we say, “God is fulfilling His promises to the natural Jew,” don’t automatically imagine that is a “good” thing for those individuals right now.

So, concerning possibility #1, we know that there are two categories inside this definition. First, there are those individuals living upon the earth right now who are 100% descended by blood and genetics from Jacob himself, without one iota of non-Jacob seed in their descent. Surely, everyone will accept without question that God will consider these individuals to be “Jews” and thus included in the fulfillment of any restoration of “Israel” that God is involved with.

Or will they?

What about that individual alive today who is descended directly from Jacob 100% with not one iota of non-Jacob blood in him whose forefather a thousand years ago converted to Islam, whose family have been Muslims ever since, and who has no idea whatever that he is 100% a descendant of Jacob?

Does he count in the fulfillment of God’s word to the Jews?

Now, before you cry against this possibility, we know full well that thousands of Jews down through the centuries converted to Catholicism. We also know that the Jews lived among the Muslims to a greater extent through the centuries than among the Christians (and were treated much better in Muslim lands than in Christian). And yes, history does record the conversion of tens of thousands of Jews to Islam over the centuries. In fact, there is reason to suspect that individuals who happened to be Jewish played some role in the creation of Islam.

It is a known fact that hundreds of Jews rose into positions of high power in the Ottoman Empire through all the centuries of its existence and that many of the Muslim officers of the Turkish military today are, in fact, blood descendants of Jacob.

Do they count in God’s fulfillment of His promises to the natural Jew?

Are the Palestinians Jews?
More than that, how many of the Palestinians, both Muslim and Christian, are 100% blood descendants of Jacob? Thousands? Tens of thousands? Half?

We cannot answer that question because no Christian in today’s world who supports “the Jews” has any idea who it is that God Himself calls that group of people who are to inherit the promises of the Old Testament, or who are to be among those who are “moved to jealousy” and are converted to Christ at the end of this age.

I have no doubt that many Christians believe without even thinking about it that if an individual who is 100% descended from Jacob is a committed atheist or communist, that makes no difference to God, that individual is still part of Israel, but if an individual who is 100% descended from Jacob, but a committed Muslim, they are completely cut off from the Israel of God.

We know that literally hundreds of thousands of “Jews” in Israel today moved there from Russia, we know that many are the children or grandchildren of the Bolsheviks who brought communism to Russia, and that today they remain committed atheists. Yet no one will question whether they are “Jews” or not in God’s sight.

But that still leaves us with the incredible problem we must face of the Jews who became Christians during the first century of the Christian church. What happens to them and their descendents? Are they in line for the fulfillment of God’s promises to the natural Jew or are they also cut off?

What happens to those individuals alive on the earth today who are 100% descended by blood from Jacob himself, but who are Christians and whose forefathers have been Christians for almost 2000 years and who speak Arabic?

Are they among the damned? Or are they among those whom God includes in His great words of blessing those who bless and cursing those who curse?

Do you comprehend, dear reader, that there are thousands of individuals upon the earth right now today who are descended by blood 100% from Jacob, who are Christians and who are Palestinians?

Do they count with God more or less than any other descendant of Jacob?

Is America damned because we curse them? And we do curse with all of our hearts thousands of individuals who are descended 100% by blood from Jacob. We curse them because they are called “Palestinians” and because they speak Arabic. And we curse them in spite of the incredible fact that they are the children of those Jews of Jesus’ day who gave their hearts to Him and to His church, and in spite of the fact that they remain Christians to this day.

How does this work with God?

But that is just the first problem inside possibility #1. Let’s go on to the second problem.

A Second Problem
What about an individual who is not 100% descended from Jacob, but say, 99%? Is he part of the Israel of God and an inheritor of the promises or is he cut off, according to the reckoning of God?

If the answer is, yes he is, 1% non-Jacob blood from way back when can’t make any difference, then what about the individual, living right now upon the earth today, who is 1% descended by blood from Jacob, but 99% descended from non-Jacob sources? It’s clear that most people would agree that such a person cannot claim to be in line for all these wonderful things God says He will do with the natural Jew simply on the basis of that 1% descent.

So, if the 99% man is included by God in His count of who gets the promises, either Old Testament or New, and if the 1% man is not included by God, where does God draw the line? At 50%? And there is much historical evidence that tells us that the mixture of blood among those who call themselves is enormous. There are few people alive today, if any, who are 100% descended from Jacob.

Listen, the American people are lining up right now to go to war, maybe even massive world war, for the sake of “the Jews.” Does it make any difference if we’ve got the right people in mind? Or can anyone who wants to call himself a “Jew” get the full backing and support of the Christian church in the violence that is about to erupt upon this earth?

Let us continue.

Problems for Possibility #2
Is an individual who converts to Judaism a Jew before God and an inheritor of the promises? If I, Daniel Yordy, convert to Judaism today and raise my children in the synagogue so that their children think of themselves only as Jews, are we in line to inherit the promises of the Old Testament? Have we now placed ourselves in a position to be those who have a claim to the natural land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem? Will we be automatically included in the promise of God in the New Testament to bring many Jews into the kingdom at the last minute? Are my descendants eligible to rule with “Jesus and the Jews” from Mount Zion as Jews?

This is not a meaningless question.

The Jewish Encyclopedia itself states that the majority (maybe 90%) of those who call themselves Jews today in Israel, in Russia, and in America, are the descendants of Gentile converts to Judaism down through the centuries, since the cross of Christ.

Without a full-fledged, open, and impartial study of the genetic code of individuals, (something that will never happen in today’s world) there is no way we can know the extent, one way or the other, of how many of those who call themselves Jews in today’s world are not descended by blood – 0% - from Jacob.

But we can say this with all certainty. There are tens of thousands, there are almost certainly hundreds of thousands, and there are most likely millions of individuals in today’s world who are known as “Jews,” but who have no blood or genes from Jacob inside of them.

But we don’t need to know how many for this question - who is a Jew? All we need to do is look at one.

Here is an individual man. 1200 years ago, his Gentile forefather converted to Judaism. His great grandfather was an atheist outwardly, but who practiced what Christians would call Satanic worship behind the scenes. His grandfather was an atheist who gave money to help the Communists win control of Russia. His father was an atheist who helped finance Hitler. He is an atheist living, say, in Paris, France. He despises those who believe that there is any relevance to the Old Testament except as a mythology to give “Jews” power.

Is he a Jew?

Is he in line to inherit the promises of God given to the natural Jew? Are Christians blessed by God when we bless him? Are Christians cursed by God if we oppose him? Will his conversion to Christianity mark the direct fulfillment of what Paul said about the natural Jew at the end of the age?

What about the tens of thousands of Jews who fought in Hitler’s armies for Nazi Germany, many of whom died by bullets fired by American Christians? When a Christian boy from Kansas shot and killed a Jew wearing the Nazi uniform, was he placing himself in danger of God’s curse? (Do not believe the impossible caricatures of history imposed on us so ferociously by the conveyers of “truth” in today’s world.)

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, is not descended by blood from Jacob; there is not one drop of Jacob’s blood in him. He does not believe in God; he despises the whole thought of the reality of God in the Old Testament.

Yet by today’s definitions, he is a “Jew.” And being a “Jew,” he is “the Lord’s anointed.” Being a “Jew,” all of his actions are blessed by God. Being a “Jew,” if anyone opposes him, that person is opposing God.

Is this true?

Salvation Is for All
Now, all of these questions are, in themselves, pointless and of no real concern. The blood of Jesus was shed for all men, Jew or Gentile. The salvation of God is for all, Jew or Gentile. The cross puts an end to all natural descent and all natural claims, whether Jew or Gentile.

None of these questions about who is a Jew has any meaning in themselves.

The problem is this. The entire church in America today and around the world is committed to giving their unquestioning support to those who call themselves Jews in today’s world. They are ready to go to war for these “Jews,” even if that means world war, even if it means nuclear war, and even if it means the complete destruction of the United States.

Most Christians in today’s world are convinced that if they do not stand fully with those who call themselves Jews, regardless of what they are doing, than God will stand against them.

So these questions, that are meaningless in themselves, have come to dominate all life on this planet. And for that very weird reason, these questions have become vital.

I say these questions are meaningless in themselves, but that is not quite true. Let me explain myself.

God’s Promise to the Natural Jew
I repudiate completely the idea that the natural Jew is in line to inherit anything from God out of the Old Testament simply because he is a natural Jew. I repudiate that completely because the New Testament is utterly clear on that issue. Those who say that the natural Jew is still in line for the promises of the Old Testament because of his natural descent are doing two things. First, they are repudiating the gospel that says that all of the promises of God belong to Christ and to those who enter into Christ, whether Jew or Gentile, and second, they are displaying extreme hatred against the natural Jew. The only promise that the Old Testament gives the natural Jew is death. That’s the only promise it gives anyone. Every individual person, Jew or Gentile, who places himself under the Old Testament, is condemned to death by God without hope.

God PROMISED the natural Jew in the Old Testament that if they rejected the One whom He would send, they would not only be cut off from the Covenant made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but that God Himself would make them into a curse and a reproach throughout the whole earth.

THAT IS the Promise of God in the Old Testament to the Natural JEWS!

There is nothing from God for anyone outside of Jesus. NOTHING!

That is the gospel Paul preached and that is exactly why the Jews, including many Christian Jews, hated him so much.

What Else Did Paul Say?
But Paul, even though he commands you and me by the Holy Spirit to cast out the Old Covenant, to cast out the natural city of Jerusalem, to cast out the natural Jew and all of his claims to the promises (Galatians 4), he does give this one offer of hope to the natural Jew. In spite of all the strong statements throughout the New Testament against the natural Jew and his claims, Paul does extend, in one place only, this hope to those whom God counts to be natural Jews who have rejected Jesus. Paul says this in Romans 11.

¹ I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. ² God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, ³ “LORD, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? ⁴ But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” ⁵ Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace . . .  

¹¹ I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. ¹² Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!

¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, ¹⁴ if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them. ¹⁵ For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

²⁸ Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

Who Is Paul Talking About?
First, Paul does not raise the question of future Gentile converts to “Judaism” who, in facing a choice between the Christ of God versus that religion that denies that Jesus is the Messiah (which John says is anti-Christ), rejected Christ and embraced the denial that Jesus is the Messiah (Judaism). Paul, here, makes no mention of these people. So we really cannot use this passage to refer to any Gentile who converted to “Judaism” after the birth of the church on the day of Pentecost.

Clearly, Paul is speaking here, at least in this context, of those who are descended by blood from Jacob. 

Paul, in these verses, is laying out a clear path for God’s intention towards those who are descended by blood from Jacob, but who continue to reject the Messiah whom God sent. Now, understand this, Moses promised the children of Israel that any individual Jew who rejected the Messiah of God would be cut off from Israel and have no place in any promise of God.

Paul, in making this incredible claim, is denying the promise of God through Moses. And he has the authority to do that, because of the all-completeness of the sacrifice of Jesus.

Now, here is an amazing thing. The only passage in the New Testament that gives some hope to those natural Jews who reject the Messiah is this chapter, Romans 11. Moses promised them that they would be cut off forever without hope. But Paul, here in this chapter, by the authority given to him by the Lord Jesus Christ, repudiates Moses’ promise, and states that something different from what Moses claimed will happen at a certain point in time that was “future” from the time Paul wrote these words.

Exactly What Paul Says
Let’s look exactly at what Paul says about those Jews who receive the promise of God given through Moses, that they would be utterly cut off from the commonwealth of Israel, and from all the “good” promises of God for rejecting the One whom God sent.

1.    Paul says clearly in Romans 11, in full agreement with the promise of Moses, that those Jews who reject Jesus are CUT-OFF.

2.    Paul says clearly in Romans 11 that those Jews who reject Jesus, in their cut-off state, are the enemies of the gospel through the age of the church. This statement of Paul here in Romans 11 is in complete agreement with other things that he, Peter, and Jesus all say elsewhere about the role of the natural Jew in the persecution of the church of Christ.

3.    Paul says clearly in Romans 11 that among those Jews who reject Jesus is a remnant whom God will hold in His grace. Isaiah also speaks of the cut-off-ness of the natural Jew who rejects Jesus, and he gives a possible percentage for that remnant of grace – 10%. In other words, when Paul says here that God, because of the honor He gives to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, will hold a remnant of those Jews cut-off from all that is Israel in a place of grace, he is referring only to, probably, about 10% of the cut-off natural Jews alive on the earth. (We are not overly concerned about the percentage, just the understanding that it is a minority of the total population of real natural Jews alive today. Most natural Jews will remain in the cut-off condition and not be included in the remnant of grace in this age.)

4.    Paul says clearly in Romans 11 that a final ingathering of the remnant of cut-off Jews occurs at the very end of the church age because that ingathering is tied closely with the resurrection, the redemption of the body (life from the dead). And thus we see that Revelation 11 is talking about exactly the same thing as Romans 11.

So now we must look at the 90% +/- of the cut-off Jews – severed from Israel by the promise of Moses – who are not in the election of grace and who are never returned to Christ in this age. Do they play a role in the purpose of God?

But we still must come back to the question - who on earth are we talking about?

King David Was Partly a Gentile
David was not a 100% blood descendant of Jacob. He was 87.5% Jacob and 12.5% Gentile. David’s father, Jesse, was 75% Jacob and 25% Gentile; his grandfather, Obed, was 50% Jacob and 50% Gentile. Yet all were counted in the commonwealth of Israel and in the bloodline of the Messiah. Moses had said that NO Moabite would ever be included no matter how long they lived among the Jews, but God counted Ruth’s faith to be greater than His word through Moses. (Moses also said that any Egyptian or Edomite who joined with the Jews would be counted by God as a Jew after the third generation.)

So, let us take the position that all Gentiles who converted to Judaism before the crucifixion of Christ were counted by God as Jews and full inheritors of the promise. We know that the fully-Gentile Roman centurion, Cornelius, had converted to Judaism because of a desire inside him to know the living God. God honored that desire by making Cornelius the first Gentile, and those with him, born again into Christ.

But what about those who converted to Judaism after the resurrection of Christ? How does God count them? Are they included in the CUT-OFF promise of Moses? Are they included in the election of grace concerning the remnant of natural Israel?

This question is more significant to the world today than most people realize. In fact, this question, right now, rules the earth, sitting upon it as a giant octopus with its tentacles fastened upon everything.

The Remnant of Grace
I know that God keeps for Himself a remnant of the natural Jew, say 10%, inside the election of grace. That means that a remnant of those descended by blood from Jacob are included in the church and salvation of Christ, very likely in each generation of the church age, and most definitely now, at the end of the age. I wonder if the Christian Palestinians, who are descended directly by blood from the Jews of the first century who received the Messiah whom God sent, are a significant part of that remnant of grace? And who, therefore, are among the inheritors of this specific promise through Paul to natural Israel? Yet look how they suffer at the hands of those who call themselves Jews! This is exactly as Jesus said it would be.

(The gospel of Jesus Christ clearly states, without argument, that all who receive Christ also receive all the promises of God in the Old Testament. We are ADDED-IN to the commonwealth of Israel.)

What About Those Not Included?
But what does God say about the two other groups of people? What does He say about the 90% of the blood descendents of Jacob who are cut-off for the duration of the church age and are never gathered back in? And what does He say about the Gentile converts to Judaism AFTER the resurrection of Christ? What does He say about those who call themselves Jews but are NOT?

I would suggest that God in no way and at no time counts any Gentile individual or his descendants who converted to Judaism after the resurrection of Christ as having anything to do with Israel or the promises of God in the Old Testament or any fulfillment of anything by God upon this earth except for the fulfillment of that which is anti-Christ.

I certainly could be wrong. It could be possible that God would do such a thing. (Don’t misunderstand me here, the blood of Jesus and the redemption of Jesus applies to all men everywhere - whosoever will may freely come, but that truth is not the focus of Christians upon the natural Jew today.)

A Promise to Blood Descendants
So, I am taking the position, in this article, that the promise of God through Paul to the remnant of grace among those who are cut-off by Moses, is a promise to blood descendants of Jacob. That group would include, among others, most of those who are called Sephardic Jews (the lower classes of the modern nation of Israel), a large number of those who are called Palestinians, and others whom we have no idea of, including many who are today “Christian,” and many who are today “Muslim.”

[I know that there are some who strongly claim that the Germanic tribes are the lost ten tribes of Israel (British Israel) and thus are direct blood descendents of Jacob. There is a small amount of evidence for this idea, but not enough specific evidence to intrigue me. Further, I utterly repudiate the idea that I, a descendent of a German tribe, have an “in” with God because of some “natural descent” that my African American brother cannot enjoy. I hate and abhor that whole way of thinking, and only mental sickness and not Christ takes people in that direction. It’s not that it’s impossible that the Germanic tribes are the ten tribes of Israel; it’s that such a thing means less than nothing. In fact, I will show later that this concept, British Israel, adds to the evil of our day.]

Gentile Converts to Judaism
But what, exactly, does it mean to convert to “Judaism” after the resurrection of Christ. We know that the Spirit of God recognizes such a thing and warns us to be on our guard against it.

“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer.” Revelation 2:9-10

Part of the reason why Christians love to cut so many verses out of their Bibles is that it helps them to get rid of such inconvenient verses as this one, especially in the world today when opposing anything Jewish can cost you everything.

The first thing that must be understood is that Judaism before the cross of Christ and “Judaism” after the cross of Christ are two drastically different things, both spiritually and naturally. Any similarities between the two are appearance only.

Spiritual Judaism Since the Cross
First, let’s look at what happened spiritually. On the morning that Christ died on the cross, God accepted all sacrifices offered to Him in the temple in Jerusalem. That acceptance of blood included all the observance of Mosaic ritual in the Israel of Jesus’ day. God even accepted the Pharisees in the honest part of their Mosaic role; He spoke against only their hypocrisy.

Then, as Christ died upon the cross, the veil in the temple, separating the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies, separating man from God, separating Jew from Gentile, was torn down the middle from top to bottom. This veil is a carefully woven cloth about six inches thick. God alone could make this tear; no natural force can explain it. At that very moment, God transferred His acceptance of blood from the sacrificial order of Moses to the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. That transference was total and absolute.

The morning after Christ died, all sacrifice of blood by the Mosaic order was a hideous blasphemy, a Satanic abomination mocking all that is Christ and all that is holy. From that moment on, all sacrifice of blood by the Mosaic order is an open in-your-face denial of the sacrifice of Jesus, it IS anti-Christ.

The morning lamb offered to God at 6 AM on the day Jesus went to the cross was acceptable to God, a sweet-smelling fragrance. The morning lamb offered in the same place and in the same way at 6 AM on the next day was a sacrifice to demons. (We will look at Moses speaking about this exact thing.)

That is the spiritual significance of “Judaism” since the cross, but it is not natural Judaism since the cross. Natural Judaism is something different.

Natural Judaism Since the Cross
All practice of Mosaic ritual ended with the destruction of Jerusalem by the Jews themselves (not by the Romans as we too easily say) in the greatest orgy of mass-suicide in history, exactly 40 years after the cross of Christ. This massive national suicide - Josephus claims that one million Jews slaughtered each other and themselves, without the Romans lifting a finger - holds a very significant role in the fulfillment of many things God says in His word. Not one Christian was inside the walls of Jerusalem when this happened; they had all obeyed the clear words of Jesus, including Mary, the mother of Jesus, who had left Jerusalem with John and journeyed to Ephesus shortly before these events when the Roman armies allowed anyone who wanted to leave a free exit from Jerusalem.

We must understand the significance of this massive self-death inside the history and place of anti-sacrifice in the testimony of God concerning the fall of man upon this earth. Anti-Christ holds fully an anti-sacrifice, not one, but two. Just as the plan of God includes a second witness of Christ and a second laying down of life, so it includes a second witness of anti-Christ and a second anti-sacrifice. The world calls that second anti-sacrifice “The Holocaust” or “the burnt offering”; the Spirit of God calls it “the wound of the beast.”

But Judaism as it is in the earth today did not begin until AFTER the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. Judaism from that time until now has nothing to do with the Mosaic rituals given by God to Old Testament Israel. It is something entirely different.

Should I Convert to Judaism?
So, if I were to convert to “Judaism” today and raise my children and grandchildren in a synagogue, we would have very little relationship with the Old Testament Judaism given by God through Moses to Old Testament Israel. Any such relationship would be appearance only.

What is it that I would be joining myself with?

Judaism began after the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. From that time for the next one thousand years, the largest number of Jews in the world lived in the city of Babylon in Mesopotamia. The Babylon cursed by Jeremiah became the largest Jewish city on earth. This is a fact of history I find extraordinary. And just as extraordinary is the fact that the largest Jewish city on earth today is New York City, which is the center of world finance and the location of world government and rule. Over 3 million Jews live in New York City, until the 1990’s there were more Jews in New York than in Israel.

In the time of Jesus, the Pharisees were only one power faction among several. They were not the strongest. But the destruction of Jerusalem eliminated their more powerful rivals, the Sadducees and the Herodians. The party of the Pharisees had managed to transfer itself to Babylon before Jerusalem was destroyed. They came to Babylon with an absolute hatred of Jesus and of the Christian church. That hatred guided every direction of their hearts.

The Leaven of the Pharisees
Here is what Jesus said to His disciples about the Pharisees.

‘Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” . . . Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’ Matthew 16: 6-12

This “leaven of the Pharisees” certainly has a spiritual application in our lives as believers. This “leaven of the Pharisees” can come at us from any source. (The leaven of the Sadducees was mixing God and the world, something American Christianity has perfected.)

But the doctrine, or teaching, of the Pharisees is also something very real in the natural world. That doctrine was written down in Babylon by the faction of the Pharisees after the destruction of Jerusalem. That written teaching of the Pharisees is called “The Talmud.” The Talmud is entirely the source of Judaism in the world today. Elements of the Old Testament come into Judaism ONLY as they pass through the Talmud. That is, the Old Testament is allowed in Judaism only as it comes through the teaching of the Pharisees. But note, this is not just the Pharisees of Jesus’ day; this is the Pharisees who left Jerusalem with a deep and unending hatred of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian gospel.

That hatred and that doctrine simmered for a thousand years in Babylon! It was in Babylon that most of it was written down. Jeremiah’s curse against Babylon was a curse that found its fulfillment against a Jewish (blood descendants of Jacob) city. The Babylon that Jeremiah cursed was that Jewish city which forged the Talmud, the book and the belief system that rules our world today. God destroyed that Babylon, as Jeremiah foresaw, around 1000 years after He had destroyed Jerusalem. And the Jews who had found a home in Babylon had to disperse again across the world.

(More than that, the Old Testament that we read today comes from the version of the Old Testament scriptures transcribed over centuries in Babylon by these same Pharisees. The version that Jesus and the apostles of the early church used was that version of the Old Testament that had been transcribed down through the centuries in Egypt, called the Septuagint. It is only in the last few years that we have discovered that the Old Testament as it was originally written down is found more accurately in the manuscripts of Egypt rather than the Masoretic manuscripts of Babylon! The differences do not change anything important, but it is an interesting fact that confirms that it is the Spirit of the word (Christ) that we must hear, not the letter.)

And so, to convert to Judaism since the cross of Christ is to embrace with all one’s heart the conviction that Jesus was the wickedest man ever to walk this earth. That conviction is the core of Judaism, the Talmud, in the church age. Judaism is a direct repudiation of every claim of Christ and every claim of the gospel. To convert to Judaism will contain no practice of the rituals given by God through Moses designed to keep a people until the coming of the Messiah. All hope of present Judaism for the coming “Messiah” is a denial of the Lord Jesus Christ and a repudiation of God.

Moses Cut Them Off
Their Messiah came, they rejected Him, and Moses cut them off. But Paul gave a way back in for a remnant kept by grace. That way back is only through the embracing of the Christ of God and an entrance into the church of Christ. All of their actions and endeavors apart from entering into Christ are entirely inside the CUT-OFF-ness instituted by Moses.

But we are speaking, here, of those who are descended from Jacob. We are saying nothing, yet, of those Gentiles, who, since the cross of Christ, have embraced the conviction that Jesus is the wickedest man who ever lived, who took on themselves the testimony, the hatred, and the superiority complex of the Pharisees. We are saying nothing, yet, of those who claim they are Jews but are not.

The Promise of God through Moses
I want to look more closely, now, at the promise of God through Moses to the natural Jew, that is, to those who are descended by blood directly from Jacob, or those who are descended by blood directly from any Gentile who converted to Judaism before Christ and whose family continued as Jews past the third generation. That promise is found in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Before you read this passage, I want to make a few comments.

First, I know of nothing in all world literature more frightening than this passage. There is no horror movie, no nightmare, no sick rantings of a hate-filled mind more horrifying than these calm clear words spoken by God through Moses. They do not come from hate, they come from Love, and they are sure and certain.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 is the promise of God to the natural Jew. It is why anyone with a sane mind would flee from any form of claim to being a natural Jew. It is why anyone who tries to place any natural Jew in today’s world back under the Old Testament is an anti-Semite and a hater of the Jews.

But you and I cannot prevent God from fulfilling His promise to the natural Jew; all we can do is weep and cast ourselves upon the certainty that in all things, regardless of what it looks like, God is good.

We need to look at a few other things before you read the passage in Deuteronomy 28 and the remainder of Moses’ testimony against the Israelites just before he passed on.

Breaking the Covenant
First, Moses is not talking, in this passage, about the Israelites breaking the covenant of Moses. It is clear that he is referring to the covenant of grace – the rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Deuteronomy 18, Moses tells the Israelites that God will send them a Prophet like himself who would speak the words of God. That Prophet is Christ. God then said through Moses, “And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words which He (Christ) speaks in My name, I will require it of him.” Paul words this same promise differently. Instead of “require it of him,” Paul says, “Cut off from the commonwealth of Israel.”

More than that, Moses refers to the covenant that he says the Jews will break in two different places as being clearly the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. His words in Deut. 30:11-14, Paul clearly brings in as the foundation of the New Covenant - speaking Christ. More than that, in the song of Moses, another horrifying declaration against the Jews, Moses says, “He (the Israelites) forsook God who made him and scornfully esteemed the Rock of his salvation.” Paul makes clear that Rock is Christ.

So when God says through Moses, “They will provoke Me and break My Covenant,” He was not referring to the covenant of Moses, to the Old Covenant, to the Law; He was referring to the Covenant of Christ.

This means that, no matter what awful things the Israelites went through before Christ, Deuteronomy 28 refers directly to the experience of the natural Jew after their rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Possibility of Hidden Jews
Second, there are some interesting things Moses says in the last part of Deuteronomy about the condition of the Jews in the church age. He says that they will convert to other religions besides Judaism, and he says that many will not know that they are actually descendants of Israel. Moses backs up my suggestion, an understanding I get from knowledge of present history, not from Moses, that many people in today’s world whom God counts as natural Jews and who stand as candidates for being included in Paul’s promise of a remnant of grace at this end of the age are actually Muslims today, speak Arabic or other Middle Eastern languages, and actually have no idea they are descended from Jacob.

Moses also says in “the Song of Moses,” that the Jewish sacrifice will become a sacrifice to demons. This is the nature of the Jewish sacrifice from the death of Jesus on the cross until it ended in AD 70. It is also the nature of the Jewish sacrifice if it, in fact, started once more this April of 2010, 1940 years after God destroyed it.

God’s Order for the Return
Third, Moses also gives the promise that Paul gave to the natural Jews who break their covenant with God by rejecting the Messiah whom He sends. Moses says this in Deuteronomy 30:1-3: “Now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God drives you, and you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice . . . that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord you God has scattered you.”

God’s order is clear. First, the remnant among those who are scattered obey the Voice of God, that is Jesus, and come into the New Covenant of Grace, BEFORE God brings them back out of captivity. And here is the contradiction. The moment they come into Christ, they cease being natural Jews and they enter immediately into all the inheritance of God through Christ. Returning to a rocky hillside on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean will mean nothing to them if they truly belong to Jesus.

It is clear that whoever it is that has returned to Israel today has not been brought there by God in the fulfillment of His mercy at the end of the age of human folly to those natural Jews who reject Jesus. They have not returned to the Covenant, they have not obeyed His voice, nor received the Lord Jesus Christ.

[And again, it is very important to once again underline that this entire discussion should have no meaning as far as the gospel of Christ is concerned. In other words, the salvation of Jesus is open to all, regardless of natural descent. We should expect the same salvation extended to those who inhabit today’s Israel that is extended towards the inhabitants of South Korea or Nigeria or Paraguay or any other nation of men. If there is a moving of the Spirit among citizens of the modern nation called Israel, it is no different than any other moving of the Spirit among anyone else on earth. Claiming to be a Jew does not make anyone special before God nor does it exclude anyone from the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus.]

The Election According to Grace
But I am looking for this great ingathering from among those descendants of Jacob who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ back into the mercy and grace of God. This election according to grace is a part of the plan of God for the birthing of the age to come. I am looking for many multitudes of that ingathering to come from out of those who are called Palestinians, as well as from among many Muslim peoples of the Middle East. I am looking for that ingathering to come out of those who are called “Sephardic Jews,” who are today’s lower classes in modern Israel, despised and persecuted by the upper class “Ashkenazi Jew.” I just read another article about a group of Ashkenazi parents in Israel who persuaded the government to allow them to send their children to school classrooms separate from the dark-skinned Sephardic and African Jews whom they despise. This is normal life in Israel, a state based entirely on racial prejudice.

But what about those Gentiles who chose to convert to the hatred and rejection of Christ during the age of grace? Are they included in this particular ingathering that Paul and Moses refer to?

No, I do not believe they are included.

That fact, of course, does not exclude them from the grace of Christ sent to all men.

Do you see how ridiculous it is to try to distinguish the salvation of the “Jews” from the salvation of anyone else? Yet we are about to go to war, a war that will go very badly for the American people in every possible way, because American Christians think God holds such a distinction.

Read Deuteronomy 28
Now, I want you to read Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Read it slowly and carefully, considering the history of the Jews from Vespasian encircling Jerusalem with armies in AD 68 until today. Consider the full horror of God’s promise to those Jews who reject Jesus.

Once you have read the promise of God through Moses to the Jews, I want to point out that, in spite of how bad that promise is, Jeremiah makes it far, far worse. And again, this promise is not set aside by Jesus (unless a person who is a Jew receives Jesus); rather it is given to those who, after Jesus has come, break the Covenant by rejecting Him.

The Curse of Jeremiah
Jeremiah says this same thing five different times, applying this promise to all Israelites who reject Jesus. Jeremiah promises that those Israelites who break the covenant by rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ, God will send them into all nations and God Himself will make them to BE a CURSE to all nations.

This is the history of the Western world for the last 1000 years, and the history of the whole world for the last 200 years. Jeremiah promised that wherever the natural Jew was driven throughout all the nations of the world, they would be a curse to every people among whom they lived. Paul refined that declaration by describing the Jew as “the enemy of the gospel” during the church age.

It is an interesting thing that it was not the Jews who carried out the execution of Jesus, but the Romans. Yet both Herod and Pilate would have let Jesus go and not killed him. Pilate yielded to the demands of the Pharisees. Yet Peter told the Jews, “You murdered the Christ whom God sent to you.” But today, the argument is that it was not the Jews, but the Romans, who killed Christ. So this pattern works all through history. Many times the Jews have instigated evil deeds, but have either persuaded Gentiles to do those deeds and take the blame or did the deeds in such a way that the blame fell on the Gentiles. (Muslims did not do 9/11, yet they have received the full blame as if they did.)

For instance, the book of Acts closes with Paul imprisoned in Rome not long before his death. The Jews of Rome came to him to hear him, but rejected what he said about Christ. As they left, Paul laid on them the curse spoken by Isaiah, that hearing they would not hear and seeing they would not see. Those same Jews went out and, working through a Jewess, the wife of Nero, agitated for the destruction of the Christians. It was a Gentile, Nero, who did the dirty work, but, just as with Pilate, he may not have done what he did except by the instigation of the very Jews who walked out of Paul’s room, breaking their covenant with God as they walked out by rejecting the One whom He sent.

And so it has been from then until now. The man who birthed the Inquisition, Torquemada, was a Jew along with many of the Inquisitors. The men who imposed communism on Russia were Jews. The single greatest killer of Christians in all of history, Lazar Kaganovich, a communist, was a Jew. God said that these people would BE a curse to all nations. What God said describes the world we know today. And don’t think that a God of Love would never allow this. God is a God of Love, and this is what Love has allowed.

[If we want to apply the Bible to the Jew, we better do so, and not apply made up stuff that the Bible refutes, as does the church today. If we want to know God, we must know Him as He is, not as we wish Him to be.]

The Curse Seemingly Transferred
But here is the mercy of God, in part at least. In spite of the role that actual blood descendants of Jacob have played in being a curse to all among whom they live, God has transferred this curse down through the centuries from off of those who are actually the seed of Jacob and onto a people who are not, a people who call themselves Jews, but are not. Although Torquemada was most likely descended from Jacob, Lazar Kaganovich was not.

And so now today, many who are actually the seed of Jacob among the Palestinians are among those who are receiving the butt-end of this curse from God sent among them - the “Jew.” Those who call themselves Jews, but are not.

The Beast
John saw, in his vision on Patmos, a beast rising up out of the sea. He prefaced that vision by stating that these things God was showing him were “future,” that is, that they applied to the age of the church, the present age in which we still live. The beast rising up out of the sea applies to all human government from the time of the early church until today.

However, the beast rising out of the sea is exactly how historians who do not read the Bible describe the last 360 years of human government.

All human government today is in every possible way, democratic, parliamentarian, socialistic, bureaucratic, all-controlling, holding a monopoly on all power and violence, allowing no opposition - modern government is the fullest expression of that beast found in the age of human folly.

I am more and more understanding that the critical years of the formation of modern government as it exists in the world today begins in the period of 1624 through 1694. There are so many foundations for modern government that were laid in that time period. It is entirely appropriate to apply the vision John saw of “the beast arising from the sea” - to a large extent - to begin around the year 1650. In 1651, the philosophy that underlies modern human government was published in a book called, appropriately, Leviathan, or the beast. In that book, written in support of parliamentary government, seen then for the first time upon the earth, Thomas Hobbes proposes that modern government should sit upon the brutish masses of humanity like a great beast and control every aspect of their lives, something no king could ever do.

Parliament had defeated King Charles II and chopped off his head over the issue of his raising the tax rate to 10% of the wealth of the nation so that he could wage useless wars on foreign soil. Upon seizing power through violence, Parliament jacked the tax rate up above 50% of the wealth of the land and instigated one of the bloodiest foreign wars (against the Irish) that have shamed English history. The argument that democracies are “peaceful” has no relationship with any form of history. Kings are more likely to preserve their country, to treat enemies with respect, and to negotiate for peace than democracies.

But the history of the rise of the beast in the earth today is a different topic. What I want to look at here is the driving force controlling and directing the rise of that Beast that John saw in his vision.

The Satanic Cult Behind the Beast
In 1648 Sabbatai Zevi, at the age of 22, declared himself to be the Messiah of the Jews. He brought his convictions out of his study of the Talmud and of the Jewish Cabbala. He used the Jewish Cabbala, satanic practices in Jewish form, as the basis of his claims and actions. He gained a wide following throughout the Jewish world, declaring himself again to be the Christ of God in Palestine, promising the return of the Jews to the land of Israel. His life was a mess, but many Jews clung to the belief that he was the Messiah. In the 1700’s another Jew, Jacob Frank, claimed to be the re-incarnation of Sabbatai Zevi and gained a large following as a prophet of “God.”

The point is this. Sabbatean and Frankist Jews exist as a Satanic cult inside the spectrum of world Jewry. That cult rules the world today. The leading Sabbatean Jew of history was Mayer Amschel Rothschild.

Any knowledge of “Jews” in the world today is almost entirely irrelevant unless that knowledge contains inside it a full understanding and recognition of the role of Mayer Amschel Rothschild, the role of his sons, and their overwhelming impact on the whole earth.

That knowledge is outside the scope of this paper. But unless the role of the Rothschild’s and their rule of money is part of our knowledge of the world and our application of Scripture to the present day, then we have no idea of present reality. Rather, we are subject, as far as our life in this world is concerned, to all the back and forth nonsense designed to keep foolish people in thrall to the power of money.

The power of money and banking is the power of Rothschild, and Rothschild money created the modern nation of Israel and built the most evil building on earth, the Supreme Court of Israel, in that wicked city that God calls Sodom, but that men try to call “Jerusalem.”

A satanic cult rules America; they pick the two choices they give Americans for president, Tweedledee versus Tweedledum. This satanic cult has owned all that is America since 1913, with the creation of the Federal Reserve Board and the issuance of the Federal Reserve note as “money.” The money you hold in your bank account is not yours, though you think it is. It is a debt that you owe to people who call themselves Jews, but are not. You owe it to them, but you can never pay them back. As far as this world is concerned, you and I are debt slaves.

Mike Huckabee stood before the members of that satanic cult and swore his allegiance to them before he was presented as the “Christian” choice for President. Sarah Palin stood before the members of that satanic cult and swore her allegiance to them before she was presented as the “Christian” choice for Vice-President. If she were not their choice, you would never have heard of her. You hear her name today only because she is already committed to their purposes.

All Things Are Purposed by God
God has a purpose in giving the whole world into the hands and power of this satanic cult of people who claim to be Jews, but are not, who have intermarried with the Royal houses of northwest Europe, especially the English royal family who claim to be direct descendents of King David (British Israelism) That is why every single President and Vice President in American history has been a blood member of the royal house of England.

God has a direct purpose that has nothing to do with evil itself, but that has everything to do with the exaltation of His Son and His victory in and through His saints upon this earth. It is God who instituted all these things through Moses and through Jeremiah.

God has a purpose, and He will bring that purpose to its final conclusion upon this earth.

God has everything to do with everything, and He brings all things into the exaltation of His Son in us.

Understanding the role of the Jews in the plan of God, both as a curse to all nations - the enemies of the gospel, and as the demonstration of His great mercy at the beginning of the age to come, is the only possible way we can understand the world in which we live and the final showdown of grace God has appointed us to fulfill.
