Hi Daniel,
I've being listening to you online - the message entitled "What is Man." This has brought up a whole new idea to me, I've never heard about the battle we have now before, you say the Lord has given us a battle against the Devil? OK, I've heard the main stream church talking about it, but they see the Devil under every bush anyway.
But men like yourself and Fred Pruitt, Dan Stone, and Norman Grubb, who seem to have some real answers for life on earth as a believer - most of the church teaches how to get your sins forgiven and when you die you'll go to heaven, but in the meantime you got to spend your time confessing sins and shouting at the Devil with no results usually, well I never personally seemed to get anywhere,as I said before, the rolling the stone up and down the hill illustration that you give describes the situation very well.
Anyway you're the first of that above list of men that presents a battle? The others seem to say just forget the Devil, he has been defeated and kicked out of our vessel, our body, we were vessels of sin and Satan, now we are vessels of love and Christ.
You seem to present a battle and also you say we could "lose" - you mentioned in the teaching? Could you please try to explain what you're saying a little more for a simple Irish man?
Thanks for all the rich material on your website, it's much appreciated..
Regards, John
The Context in which I Write
A Video Recording of this Message
John,
I do not want to speak in any way against precious teachers of the word such as Fred Pruitt, Dan Stone, or Norman Grubb. Each one has his place in the body of Christ, and in the unveiling of Jesus Christ. God has not given any one of us the whole picture, nor does anyone yet see all things clearly. We are traveling a path we have never known.
That being said, although I draw much from these you mention and witness to what they write, I am not satisfied that they have the whole picture. (I am not satisfied that I have the whole picture.) Fred Pruitt has been in our home a couple of times - a precious brother.
Paul said (1 Cor. 2) that the gospel comes not in word only, but also in the demonstration of the Spirit and power.
Fred has wonderful teaching, but the demonstration of the Spirit and power that I know from years of experience with God and His people is not there with him at this time in the way that my heart cries for. Neither do I sense that power in Norman Grubb's writing (that says nothing against the great truths that are there in Norman Grubb's writing).
Again, this is not an accusation nor a put down. Each of us walks in the light Jesus gives us personally. That's why hammering against each other with verses or with our "understanding" or "experience" is such a pointless ridicule of Christ - it is simply declaring that He doesn't know what He's doing.
He does all things well.
But I must follow that which my heart yearns for, that which God quickens to me in His word. I am accountable to God for what He places in me, not what He places in my brother.
[I find, John, that this is a most important question you have asked.]
So where am I coming from?
I draw from and speak to three different streams of the church, three different things that God is doing through His people at this present time. The "Christ as us" or the "grace word" people are only one part of three that are on my mailing list. I also draw from and speak to the river of life moving of God's Spirit, the outpouring of power to heal and set free, the power to transform lives mightily as found in the writings and ministry of Bill Johnson and others. (For Bill Johnson, just go to Amazon.com and type in "Bill Johnson." I recommend "When Heaven Invades Earth," and "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind."
But both of those streams are two means to a third end. One of these parts, as you see, is Word, the other part is Power. But the third part is what my site is all about and those to whom I really speak.
You will find that third part in the latter rain outpouring, and the revelation of the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles in the life of the church, and in the manifestation of the sons of God.
Now, these things may or may not be familiar to you, yet they are fully part of the teaching of the New Testament.
But here is what I have set myself to do. I have made the decision to receive into myself all that God speaks in the New Covenant and not to pick and chose like most other Christians seem to do.
Does God say, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you"? And does He say it inside the Covenant of Grace and the present revelation of Christ? Yes. Has the church misunderstood terribly the role of the enemy and our warfare and created much abuse and suffering as a result of that misunderstanding? Yes. But is there an understanding of the warfare in which we are engaged that fits fully with the victorious word of power that God is revealing to us now?
Absolutely.
We do not throw out anything God speaks when a new understanding comes, we simply raise it to the new level God has placed us on.
The "move" that I was a part of for many years, that I speak of occasionally, chose a certain set of verses in the Bible to emphasize and many others to ignore. Then, the majority of those who "left the move," because they began to embrace those verses that the move had ignored, did the exact same thing all over again. They chose a different set of verses to emphasize and ignored completely those things God had taught them through the verses emphasized in the move.
I want every word that God speaks, whether I understand it or not, whether it "fits" or not. I want to see it fulfilled in my life, here on this earth. And, although I am ready in a heartbeat to have God remove from my understanding things I picked up along the way that are not what He says, yet I will let go of nothing, not one thing, that God made alive in me over the years.
Here are three websites that are much closer in line with what I teach and believe. Edward reads my letter, but does not yet teach our full union with Christ in quite the same way I do, yet what he teaches is close. However, his teaching on the manifestation of the sons of God is identical to what I believe. And I find such a stirring in the depths of my heart when I read his words.

This second site draws together all the many chords that I also draw from and speak to. You will see much of Norman Grubb, there, etc., but Chris does the same thing as I, he fits the "Christ as us" word into the fulfillment of the larger picture of the feast of Tabernacles - the third level.

This third website contains excellent teachings concerning the fulfillment of the Third Feast. You will find Preston Eby teaching the old understanding concerning the cross, that it is before us and not behind us - and not the present understanding that God has brought through Norman Grubb and Fred Pruitt, but I agree with most everything else he teaches. (There is an element of the cross that is before us, but it is not that part of the cross that deals with our salvation. All of the cross that deals with our own personal redemption is behind us.)

You see, the men you mention may not have a full understanding of the fulfillment of the Third Feast. That's fine - it says nothing against them. Jesus does all things well. (I certainly don't have a full understanding either.)
But I must follow that which alone satisfies, that which the same Jesus has placed in my heart - and that is to see all that God speaks fulfilled in me in this age, in this life, and on this earth.
Now, to your question concerning the warfare we are presently engaged in. Yes, we are at war. My God, how can anyone imagine that war is removed from the heart of the gospel. God and the Lord Jesus are presented to us as mighty and victorious warriors from the beginning to the end. How can we be the image and likeness of God and not reveal to all creation the victory of Christ over His enemies.
God and the revelation of Christ are not passive but mighty, tearing down strongholds and every high thing that opposes the knowledge of God.
God has a purpose for Satan - he is created that we might defeat him.
God has a purpose for the curse - He placed it on creation that we might cast if off.
Look at a butterfly in the chrysalis. That chrysalis is not the butterfly, nor is it any part of the butterfly. Yet, if the butterfly does not cast off that chrysalis, the life that is inside it fails to flow into every part of its being and it remains too weak to fly in the heavens and to live. The purpose of the chrysalis is to be cast off.
In casting off the curse, we come to know Christ in the way God intends. We do not know Him in that way at present.
How can anyone settle for their present knowledge of Christ or for their present understanding of any verse in the Bible?
I cannot.
If my present knowledge of Christ and His revelation in me and through me and as me is all there is for me right now, then we are of all men most miserable.
And so our battle is not at the level that we have known in the past. Yes we do cast down the accuser. That is the bulk of the internal warfare we are engaged in. On the other hand, the idea that people are not tormented by demons or that we, in the love of Christ for others, should not use the power God has given us to set people free from that torment is a strange sort of definition of God's love. God does not abuse His children - Satan does. God allows Satan to do his thing that we might know the power of Christ to cast down the enemy.
Passivity is the very opposite of God. Jesus - the only life we have - is a Mighty and Victorious Warrior.
Paul, who is the one who taught us Christ as our life, the one who taught us that the spirit of Satan working in us has been fully replaced by the Spirit of Christ working in us, also stated, in the same context, that we wrestle against spiritual darkness and iniquity in heaven. This is part of our role as sons of God. This is not about "our salvation." Our salvation is behind us. This is about God fulfilling His purpose in the earth. This is about God proving His word as He intended from the beginning. We are seized in the grip of His determination. God has established the creation as it is, filled with darkness and evil. He placed His Word inside that darkness - with the full intention that His Word win in all possible ways, dispelling the darkness as if it never was. You and I are the vessels that contain that Word.
John, this is far, far, bigger than salvation. Salvation restores us to being the image of God. Now, as the image of God, we fufill God's purpose in the earth.
You and I are called to be the full revelation and image of God to all creation. Are we that now? In part, yes. As a seed, yes. By faith before God, yes.
In fullness? In all that God intends? No. (Some people settle for a very little God.)
Everything we are, we are in seed form. We are in the womb of the church. We have not yet come into the full light of day. To force our present vision, enclosed in darkness, upon all the God speaks is a mistake. It is the arrogance of the blind. On the contrary, let all that God speaks inform us of the reality into which we are being birthed.
Satan and his demons fill the earth and torment all mankind. The earth continues to stagger under the curse of sin and death. Christians continue to die - that is the curse. I read the arguments that people give to try to explain away the physical death of the believer in light of the proclamation of victory over death in the New Testament. It is to me nothing but mumbo jumbo heeby jeeby. Physical death is an enemy of God, it is the curse of sin and death. It is punishment for sin. If we are to believe that there is no condemnation, then we must believe for the overthrow and end of physical death upon this earth. Removing feelings of guilt from our consciousness does not fulfill the word in Romans 8:1 - no condemnation. Removing death and all of the curse from this planet does. Adam was not condemned to "feel bad"; he was condemned to death. No matter how you paint it, dying physically is falling under condemnation.
This earth is my inheritance. The meek shall inherit the earth.
I want to see it clean. I want my children to live their lives free from the curse and from a world full of demons. (People have no idea what is boiling in the shadows right now and is about to vomit across the earth - we cannot win without causing huge problems for people in the present moment.)
It is time. It is God's time.
What God does through you and me, He will extend to all. We do not "deprive" anyone in the future by casting the curse completely off this earth. They will receive all that we receive. In fact all creation is waiting for those who will presently enter into all that God is and all that He speaks here and now. They cannot know it until we know it. (Hebrews 11)
But we do not engage in foolish antics as part of our warfare. We do not "buffet the air" as some do. The weapon that we possess is to speak what God speaks. And it is our faith in what God says that defeats all of our enemies. (1 John 4 & 5)
My word on "Led in Triumph - Always" reveals the mightiest weapon in the universe. Dancing with joy in the moment of greatest peril, in the hour of greatest darkness, in the midst of the greatest hatred and death and sorrow, as if we have already fully won, is the greatest honor that can be given to the Lord Jesus Christ - to the Word God speaks.
Now, this is a lot of stuff. And here is what you must find for yourself. You must find for yourself what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing and speaking presently in you. That is all that matters. As far as you are concerned, what Jesus is presently speaking in and through me is not what counts. What is He making alive in you? What is the deep cry welling up in your own heart as you lie upon your bed in the night watches?
If you are not drawn to the same word that is drawing me, that does not mean in any way that you are "missing God." I hate that whole way of thinking. Jesus is the Savior; He fills your heart. When you or I try to ask Him about what He is doing in someone else's life, His only reply ever is, "That's none of your business - YOU FOLLOW ME!"
That says everything we need to know.
Finally, you mention "losing." You are speaking of jeopardy versus assurance. Christians always split one way or the other on this issue. It is one of the most divisive in church history. Why? Because God speaks both from Matthew to Revelation, and He speaks both equally. Almost no one that I know of in church history has also taught both, equally. Why not? Because it makes no sense. How can our salvation be assured on the one hand, and yet we stand in jeopardy on the other? It makes no sense. God makes no sense.
And God's constant "contradiction" of Himself is what Christians use to beat on each other. There are whole denominations and groups and sects that teach jeopardy only, and that teach that the assurance people are utterly deceived. There are whole denominations and groups and sects that teach assurance only, and that teach that the jeopardy people are utterly deceived.
God does not speak anything for us to figure out. He speaks for us to believe.
God says that my salvation is absolutely and totally assured. I believe that without question.
God says that I stand in jeopardy every moment, that I am made partaker of Christ only IF --. I believe that without question.
The word God speaks is not given to us for mental exercise. That word is a seed. Inside of it is all the power needed to bring its fulfillment in our lives - if we believe what God says.
This is what makes the "complicated" message found in the Bible easy for simple hearted people such as you and me. We don't have to figure out anything God says, we just believe it - all that He says - to the fullest power that He believes in us.
All will believe. The final word God speaks, the final word of the ages of time is 1 Corinthians 15:28 "Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all." This word is final and absolute. Nothing else God says goes beyond it.
The question is the time of believing and of seeing all God speaks fulfilled in us. 1 Corinthians 15 and elsewhere also teaches us that there is an order, a progression. The Word God speaks was first fulfilled in Christ 2000 years ago. Next, it is fulfilled in the firstfruits, in a company of overcomers at this end of the age of human folly. These are elect of God. He has chosen those in whom He will reveal all the fullness of Christ in this age and on this earth.
How do you know if you are one of those whom He has chosen? Look deep inside your own heart. Do you want to be? Your deep and true answer is the answer. And if you do want it with all your heart - to be with Him as He stands in His glory upon this earth - then believe that you are. Believe it with all your heart. It is better to die in faith and overwhelming confidence than to live in hesitation and unbelief. And faith is making every word God speaks personal to me.
"I am Your servant; let it be to me according to Your word."
But those who enter in now are not any sort of "elite." They are simply the firstfruits, and the entire delight of their lives is to hold the door open and to point the way as the many, many multitudes of those who also belong to Jesus then rush in to all the fullness of Christ, oblivious to those who have opened the door. And we will step into the shadows rejoicing in the joy of our beloved Friend.
Beyond that, through the next several ages of time (the word "eternal" is not a Biblical word, it is one of the tares that Jesus spoke of that was thrust into the Bible at the lowest point of the fall into Roman Catholic darkness), our joy and work will be to seek and to save all that are lost. Until every knee has bowed and every tongue has confessed Jesus as Lord. Every one.
And then, when all things are once again subject to the Lord Jesus Christ, subject to the Word God speaks, then Jesus will turn and present all creation back to the Father, having fulfilled the purpose for which He was sent, and God will be all things in all things. And every element and particle of creation will be filled with all the knowledge of God.
This is the context and the framework in which I write.
Again, the important thing for you is to draw those things that God is making alive to you right now. If you read things that you don't understand or that don't seem to fit what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing in you right now, no problem at all. It doesn't mean those things are "wrong" nor does it mean that you are "wrong."
Jesus is our Salvation; He lives in our hearts. That means everything. Nothing else matters.
Blessings in Christ,
Daniel Yordy
