John and Bonnie Morris live near Pheonix, Arizona. Bonnie was drawn to the ministry of the gospel by the Holy Spirit in 1974. She began as an adult Sunday school teacher. Highly recognized by her spiritual gifts, she soon started teaching 15 hour seminars on the subject of relationships in main line denominational churches. In 1986, with a growing desire to reach people with the message about the reconciliation of God, she and John, her husband, rented 5 homes and began to feed people; not only spiritual food, but natural food as well. John served as the Executive Director of an evangelistic outreach called “The Freedom Center” in Centralia, Washington. In 7 years, they shared the gospel of salvation with over 4000, fed out 150 meals a day, jobbed and encouraged people on their personal journeys. In 1995, Bonnie traveled in ministry for another 5 years, making every effort to reach her church friends and family with a message of faith and love. After some television evangelism in the states of Washington and California, Bonnie became ill and was forced to move to Arizona for the weather. It turned out to be a blessing as it afforded her the opportunity to write. Her goal has now become centered around getting people into the Bible as she and her husband continue to reach out to those in need. Although Bonnie is the author, she readily acknowledges the added insight of her husband's thoughts that are present in every article. Please enjoy Bonnie's articles: |

"We Report, You Decide" HOW DO YOU WALK: IN LOVE or FEAR OFJUDGMENT (March 18, 2010) Taken from the Bible called “THE MESSAGE” 1st John 4:17 God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we're free of worry on Judgment Day - our standing in the world is identical with Christ's. There is no room in love for fear. Well formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life - fear of death, fear of judgment - is one not yet fully formed in love. “WE REPORT, YOU DECIDE” Send Bonnie & John an email with your thoughts. “We Report, You Decide” (September 7, 2009)
WHERE SHOULD WE, AS CHRISTIANS, SIT, WALK, AND LIVE?
Hebrews 8:1 Now the main point of what we have to say is this: We have such a High Priest, One Who is “seated” at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. Ephesians 2:6 And He raised us up together with Him and made “us sit down together”, giving us joint seating with Him in the heavenly sphere by virtue of our being in Christ Jesus, the Messiah, the Anointed One. Strongs Dictionary: Heavenly: The eternal dwelling place of God; A realm of Spirit Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should “walk” in newness of life. 2nd Corinthians 5:7 For we ‘walk’ by faith, not by sight. Should we, by faith, “live” in that place where God said everything is very good; where there is no sense of separation from the person and nature of God? Is it possible to “live” in that realm? Have we yet to realize something more of what the resurrection was all about; that we might “live” there, here and now? Is this what is meant by heaven on earth? Revelation 21:5-6 And He Who is “seated” on the throne said, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them, and they shall be His people and God shall personally be with them and be their God. And He further said to me, IT IS DONE! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I Myself will give water without price from the fountain springs of the water of LIFE. Could “IT IS FINISHED” have really meant IT IS FINISHED? ‘We Report, You Decide” Send Bonnie & John an email with your thoughts. "We Report, You Decide" WHO THEN SHALL BE RECONCILED? (August 11, 2009) Colossians 1:16 Colossians 1:20 The Revelation 5:13 Isaiah 45:21-25 Phil. 2:10 2nd Corinthians 5:18b-21 “WE REPORT, YOU DECIDE” Send Bonnie & John an email with your thoughts. WE REPORT, YOU DECIDE DID ADAM HAVE TO SIN TO BE MADE PERFECT? (July 8, 2009) 1st Peter 2:21 indicates that Christ is our example. Hebrews 5:9a And being MADE PERFECT, he (Jesus) became the author of eternal salvation. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot share our infirmities; we have one who was tempted in everything as we are, AND YET WITHOUT SIN. 1st Peter 2:22 He (Jesus) DID NO SIN, neither was guile found in his mouth. 2nd Cor. 5:21 For HE WHO DID NOT KNOW SIN, for your sakes made himself a sin offering that we may through him be made the righteousness of God. Hebrews 9:28a So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. Hebrews 9:13-14 If the blood of goats and calves and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who were defiled sanctified them even to the cleansing of their flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself WITHOUT BLEMISH to God, purify our conscience from dead works so that we may serve the living God? DID JESUS HAVE TO SIN TO KNOW RIGHTEOUSNESS? DID GOD PLAN FOR ADAM TO SIN? (June 25, 2009)
1st Peter 1:18-20 tells us that God's PLAN was to send Jesus: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received from the tradition of your fathers. But with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.
The scriptures do not specifically say that God PLANNED for Adam to sin. We do however, know 2 things concerning the scriptures on this subject; that God's DESIRE for Adam was to OBEY His word and that God also knows the future.
Carol Dear Carol,
This is a good question. We are very blessed when our readers take time to really study and search out a matter. It is the glory of a king to do so.
To answer, we would like to pose another question. Where in the body does the Holy Spirit dwell? Certainly not in the flesh! For evidence of this, we need only to look at Moses Tabernacle as it is a type of the temple that Paul spoke of when he said, “know ye not, that you are the temple of God”. The Holy Spirit did not dwell in the outer court which was a type of the flesh. He dwelled in the most holy of all places, behind the veil, in a small compartment, yet inside the tabernacle. Thus, we see there is no contradiction when the scriptures say that in the flesh dwells no good thing because the Holy Spirit does not dwell in your members. Remember your body is to be considered as dead. This would not be possible if this was where the Holy Spirit dwelled. |
